Matt joined the PBCH Rehab Therapies staff in 2010 after earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Franklin Pierce University. The breadth of his practice continually expands and includes his knowledge in manual physical therapy. He is certified in Upper & Lower Extremity Active Release Techniques (ART), Trigger Point Therapeutic dry-needling using acupuncture needles to treat soft tissue trigger points and nerve related symptoms, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and is currently enrolled in MedBridge Online PT seminars, always striving to stay up to date with the most current treatment trends and research in the field. For Matt, “Rehabilitation is a collaboration between the patient and the therapist. I believe that excellent outcomes are to be expected if both parties fulfill their roll and bring honest effort to the equation. I am inspired by my patients who truly put forth their time and effort to help themselves succeed. It is the ultimate reward for both myself as a physical therapist and for a patient when they are able to return to doing the things they enjoy.” Matt had clinical affiliations in Maine working in a sports facility and in Utah where he was employed in a spine facility. His wife and 2 sons keep him busy, and he enjoys hiking, biking, skiing going to the beach and the many recreation sports that the White Mountains offer.
