Liz is an Aquatic Specialist at PBCH and is certified by the American Red Cross as a Water Safety Instructor and Lifeguard. She received her Bachelor of Science in Outdoor Recreation and a minor in Business Administration at Plymouth State University. Liz is in charge of all the children’s group swim lessons, teaching levels waterbabies through level 3. She also teaches a majority of adult fitness classes throughout the week. Liz loves teaching the parent and child, toddler and Level 1 swim lesson classes. Watching a participant, old or young, succeed with a skill for the first time, seeing their excitement and watching their confidence continue to grow, is the best part of her job. Liz and her husband have a son and daughter and with dog Willy they go on many adventures. Favorites are skiing, being on the water and biking. Someday she’ll own a beach shack on the Ocean!
Kristin designs and teaches aquatic classes in her role at PBCH as an Aquatic Specialist since she joined the team in 2010. She received her Bachelor of Science with a major in Physical Education, focused on Health Fitness Administration and a minor in Health from Plymouth State University. At PBCH Kristin’s work is done in the pool which is the only therapy pool with a therapeutic water temperature of 90 degrees in the area. She supervises the correct way to perform the exercise. Teaching classes each week, she enjoys the challenge of keeping the classes interesting and fresh. She is inspired by the members who are dedicated to their fitness. Kristin was born and raised in New York. Growing up, the sport of swimming was a favorite activity and it has remained so to this day. With family and friends, the out-of-doors is all-important. Time spent at the lake or the Pemigewasset River where boating and floating is always a pleasure.
Before coming to PBHC, Anna was formerly the Aquatic Director at Laconia Athletic and Swim Club for 22 years. She has a BS degree in Exercise Physiology and Cardiac Rehab from UNH. She is an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, an AEA Aqua Aerobics Instructor, an Instructor for the American Red Cross for CPR/AED/First Aid/WSI & Lifeguard Training and Safety Training for Swim Coaches and National Arthritis Foundation Instructor. Anna currently teaches Joint Mobility Pool classes, CPR, First Aid and Lifeguarding classes, along with providing marketing services for PBHC. She is responsible for creating our website, publishing weekly press releases, and working with Pemi-Baker’s Board of Directors to promote fundraising, health awareness, and exposure at health fairs in the region. Anna enjoys hiking and boating in the Lakes Region with her loving husband and two beautiful teenagers. Something you might not know about Anna is her other passion for volleyball! She played in college at UNH and was a former Junior Olympic coach for the Lakes Region Juniors.
Mary teaches children’s swimming classes several days a week, focusing on form and safety!
Diana has a Bachelor of Arts in English and is certified in Elementary Education. Keeping everyone safe in the water is her top priority. Teaching is a great passion in her life. In addition to swimming, Diana also enjoys reading, camping, and spending time with her family.
Callie has been a swim instructor (WSI) and Lifeguard Instructor for many years in Virginia Beach. Currently she is working on her Master’s Degree when she is not teaching children’s swim lessons at PBCH. She loves seeing people’s faces light up when they learn a new swimming skill. Callie loves theater, music, traveling, and the beach!
