Anyone looking to get some quality exercise throughout the week can benefit from exercising in our intimate fitness center or our 35 ft, 90 degree therapy pool. We have PRECOR treadmills, bikes, eliptical trainers and a variety of hand weights and resistance bands for your cardiovascular and strength needs. Water exercise, such as water aerobics, joint mobility classes and water Physical Therapy, provide the benefits of exercise while lowering the risks of falls or joint injuries.
You do not need to know how to swim to have an effective workout in the pool. With stability bars, a hydraulic lift, a bench with massage jets and deep and shallow water for non-weight or weight bearing exercises, this pool has everything you need.

Use of the pool is for Physical Therapy patients and Members only. Fitness memberships are monthly and grant access to the fitness center and pool. Open swim times are scheduled if you prefer to workout on your own. 20 Aqua Aerobics classes are offered throughout the week with pre-registration required due to limited space (12 participants/class). Upon joining you will receive an orientation to the facility with one of our Aquatic & Fitness Professionals and they will help you figure out a safe fitness plan to reach your goals.
Fee: $65/month, $55/month for seniors over 65
Pemi-Baker Community Health also offers Specialty Classes that run in 4 week or 6 week sessions. These are open to members or non-members and pre-registration is required.
- Joint Mobility Classes– Anna will be leading you through a range of flexibility and strength exercises in our warm therapy pool helping you develop balance and range of motion needed for daily activity, while reducing pain. Natural buoyancy, water resistance, 90 degree water and hydrostatic pressure make this the perfect spot to exercise for anyone suffering from lower back pain, arthritis, injuries to the hip/knee/shoulder or ankle, balance issues, high blood pressure, digestive issues or circulatory issues.

- Children’s Swim Lessons– One of the best gifts you can give your child or grandchild is the ability to swim. Not only will they be safe in any water environment, they will learn a life long way to exercise. Our highly trained swim instructors teach by the American Red Cross guidelines combining stroke mechanics and water safety for ages 6 months to 13 years of age.
Fee: $96/6 week session (once a week classes)

- American Red Cross CPR, First Aid and Lifeguard Courses– Pemi-Baker Community Health is an authorized provider of the American Red Cross and offers monthly classes and courses to certify you in CPR, First Aid and Lifeguard Training.
