Pemi-Baker Hospice Volunteer Services
The hospice volunteer is a valuable member of the Hospice team and involvement may be directly with the patient and family or it may be in another way. Volunteers, no matter what role you play, you can make a difference.

Pemi-Baker Community Health offers a Hospice training program. Instructors from the Agency or our community discuss subjects such as Communication Skills with Patient and Family and the Role of the Hospice volunteer. The training program is free of charge to the volunteer.

We help to reduce day-to-day stress by providing multiple levels of support to patients, caregivers, families, and loved ones. We help to educate you about the choices you have and the resources available to you. We assemble an interdisciplinary team based on your individual needs.
