Philosophy of Care
Hospice enables people with a terminal illness who have decided to emphasize quality of life for time remaining, are not seeking curative treatment and to live out their final days surrounded by family and a loving home environment. The emphasis is on quality of life, comfort, dignity and respect. It is a team approach to support the physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
We help to reduce day-to-day stress by providing multiple levels of support to patients, caregivers, families, and loved ones.
We help to educate you about the choices you have and the resources available to you.
We assemble an interdisciplinary team based on your individual needs.
“It is only when we truly know and understand that we have a limited time on earth and that we have no way of knowing when our time is up, we will then begin to live each day to the fullest, as if it was the only one we had.” Elizabeth Kubler-Ross
