Pemi-Baker Community Health follows the New Hampshire Law Against Discrimination. It prohibits discrimination against applicants or employees in any terms and conditions of employment on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, age, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, marital status, and physical and mental disability.

Procedure:
  1. Pemi-Baker Community Health’s EEO commitment applies to all aspects of the employment relationship, including but not limited to hiring, compensation and benefits, training, promotion, leave of absence, and termination.
  2. All employment ads will contain the phrase “E.O.E.” (Equal Opportunity Employer).
  3. All staff receive Civil Rights information during orientation and such information will be reviewed yearly.
  4. Pemi-Baker Community Health has an EEO statement on their website.
  5. Qualified individuals shall be considered for employment without regard to the individual’s race, creed, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual preference, handicap or age.
  6. Pemi-Baker Community Health hires, evaluates and promotes staff on the basis of qualification and performance.
  7. Any employee who has any EEO concerns or allegations of violation of this policy should promptly contact a member of the Leadership Team of Pemi-Baker Community Health
  8. All employees are hereby notified that Pemi-Baker Community Health will not tolerate any retaliation against employees who report or complain of discrimination or who participate in investigations of such complaints.
  9. Any violations of this policy will lead to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
